These terms govern your use of the Praetonis website, demo tools, and any informational materials (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. Paid consulting and automation work is governed by a separate written agreement; where that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement controls.

What Praetonis is — and isn't

Praetonis provides AI-assisted workflow automation and consulting for finance firms. The AI flags confidence levels and missing data; your team reviews, decides, and signs. Praetonis does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or other professional advice, and AI-generated output is an aid to your professionals, not a substitute for their judgment or sign-off.

No reliance on unverified AI output

Confidence indicators reflect the model's own estimate and can be wrong. You are responsible for verifying every figure before relying on it. Praetonis is not liable for decisions made on unverified AI output.

Acceptable use

Use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with data you are authorized to process.
Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
Do not submit data you are not permitted to share with a service provider.

Intellectual property

The site, tools, and content are owned by Praetonis. You retain all rights to the documents and data you submit; you grant Praetonis only the limited rights needed to process them and deliver the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Praetonis's total liability arising from the website and demo tools is limited to the amount you paid, if any, for access to them. Liability for paid engagements is addressed in the engagement agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. [Confirm venue/jurisdiction with counsel.]
